The auto place sleeve function to include fittings.
I have rectangular duct elbows with long throats that go to the floor above. The auto sleeve will not put sleeves on these because they are fittings.

Seth, here are the typical fittings we use that might need sleeves/openings when space is tight: Elbows (20), Radius Elbow (17)(throat extended), Transition (2)(straight extension), Boot Tap (7), Drip Tee (1139), Double Elbow (11). We also commonly use CID 1134 for transfers (left/right height at 0.01). Of course FD, FSD, and SD (501, 914, 533) would also be great to have sleeves/openings. -

Brandon BrownI would extend this to MEP Pipe fittings as well. Maybe allow a boxout around them as there are many instances in my current project where the fitting turns down in the wall and we want to sleeve/box out around it.

Nathan KerchevalThe fittings that I would like to see that can use the auto place sleeve function are CID #'s 20, 25, 7, and 2. Also it would be beneficial to have the sleeve family recreated to easily filter out specific parts of the sleeve using visibility graphics. For instance, I don't need to see the sleeve points or point center lines in views; I also may not want to turn off all generic model elements in my view or select and hide each element. And is there a way to make it where when a sleeve is placed it gives the elevation based on the bottom of the sleeve and not center of sleeve? it would be nice to have a tag made so i can quickly annotate size of opening and height from floor.
