ability to set length optimization by connector type OR size of duct.

I know we typically use the size of the duct to determine connector types and optimization length, but we frequently need to override the connector types due to space constraints. in those instances it would be great to have the choice in the optimize lengths tool to set it to optimize based on the connector type instead of the duct size.

Non-admin response here but you have my curiosity piqued. Optimize lengths appears to revert duct back to the default connector, while in theory eVolve could attempt to hijack this and make a button that changed the connectors to whatever you choose this doesn't seem like it would be the most effective method because if the connector is not locked down and stuck it could revert back to the original.

The solution that I would suggest would be to make a copy of the service and spec in question and then assign the different connector to this service. This would ensure that the connectors are always right and that CAM also knows the intent too
