Override Service Colors Without Using View Filters
The default color for Fab parts is established by the object style category in the Revit project. You can set up a graphic override for each Fabrication service by using Revit view filters. Based on conversations our company has had with Autodesk, this is known to cause a lot of lag while using Revit. Plus, view filters are a pain to use in my opinion. I believe there is a way of programmatically forcing elements to maintain a certain color without using filters. I would like to see a way of assigning colors to services so we can eliminate view filters.

we played around with the colorizer but for our normal workflow it is to sluggish to be affective. It hangs up and lags if you try and do it live and is confusing and time consuming to model and then run it through out the day.
