Random Lengths

In order to accommodate imperfections in the field, we often add a few inches to the end of a piece of pipe for specific spools. We classify the additional length as a "Random" on our spool drawings. When the shop sees this callout, they know to add 6" more to the pipe that has this tag. Unfortunately, stretching a piece of pipe in Revit will disconnect the piping within the model. I would like to see a way of handling this in a way that the model will maintain connectivity, but the bill of materials will report out the new "Random" cut length.
